Counsellor & Founder · BACP Registered · Level 4 Qualified
Hello, and welcome to Mind at Heart. I am so glad you are here. I am a BACP registered practitioner with a Level 4 qualification in Counselling and Therapeutic Practice and a deep, genuine passion for supporting people to grow, heal and discover more of themselves.
My journey into professional adult therapy began through training with the NSPCC, where I developed specialist skills in working sensitively and safely with vulnerable people. That foundation gave me the roots from which my practice has grown always keeping the wellbeing and dignity of the person at the very centre.
I believe that every person carries within them the capacity for healing. My role is not to tell you how to live, but to walk alongside you to help you understand yourself more deeply, and to gently empower you to move through the challenges you are facing. Whether that means processing trauma or grief, exploring your identity, or simply finding space to breathe and reflect, I am here.
We offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment, underpinned by a holistic approach that honours the whole person mind, body and spirit. I work in an integrative way, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs, and I am always continuing to learn and develop my practice so that I can serve you better.
I also hold a particular interest in how spirituality, faith and mindful practice can be woven into the therapeutic journey for those for whom these dimensions are meaningful. This space is inclusive, open and deeply respectful of all paths.
